Practice Makes Presence
Who is Matt Sandoval?
I am a desert dweller making a home in Goodyear, Arizona. I am nonprofit Executive Director and have over fifteen years experience in supporting human service causes. I currently a volunteer on several nonprofit boards serving youth and children, a church Vestry, and I am currently the Sr. Warden of an Episcopal Church. I am in the second half of a Master of Social Work program at Arizona State University where I am working toward the goal of licensure for private therapeutic practice.
What is this all about?
This is an ongoing record of evolution of thought and character. I am striving to live a life of mindful attention and awareness and learning from the habits that get in the way.
The Christian faith is my home, however, the teachings of Modern Buddhism are my vacation home. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, your thoughts and feelings are welcome here so long as they promote peace and growth.
How can Matt help?
I value dialogue and host interviews on spirituality, leadership, and mental health - if you think you have something to share, let's discuss how you can be part of the podcast.
I am an experienced speaker on nonprofit leadership, transforming conflict, and youth development. My podcast is a sample of what I can offer a group engaged in growing their capacity to serve others.
I coach leaders and offer support to nonprofit boards through my consulting work at Greater Good Advisory https://greatergoodaz.com/.
